The Sacramento Kings provide express lanes for their season ticketholders

Excuse me, hold the phone.

So first the Los Angeles Kings send real Stanley Cup ice to their season ticketholders…. now this?

The Sacramento Kings prove that they know how to treat their season ticketholders right. By that, I mean they feed them faster… which, in today’s society, IS treating them right.

In addition to a horrendously unnecessary royal purple carpet leading up to the concession line, the Kings put a nice little sign there, reminding all us one-time ticket peons that we aren’t as cool as the season ticketholders, and probably never will be.

As an East Coaster, I want to make a jab about how it’s compensation for liking a California sports team, but they’ve actually looked a lot better than any Boston teams I endorse lately. So I’m just gonna applaud the

red

purple carpet, and keep my mouth shut.

Next year, maybe you should invest in season tickets.
