We rank each of the NFL divisions from worst to the best

The 2014 NFL season is almost halfway in the books, to the point where we even have a “report card” for each of the 32 teams in the league. With that on the table, however, not every team has a destiny that is crystal clear at this point, and that potential upheaval lends itself to uncertainty when breaking down the league’s eight different divisions.

Last week’s rankings provide a frame of reference into our thought process, but in the same breath, there were several results during the Week 7 slate that made even the most conscious NFL fans shake their hand with a sense of unrest. In this space, we will once again break down all eight divisions, but unfortunately for the group at the bottom, they will remain in the basement for an eighth straight week despite a faint glimmer of hope after Week 7.

That division, as well as the other seven in an interesting order, will be revealed next.
