Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook looked rather hilarious in his choice of wardrobe to open the NBA season.

There’s no denying Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook marches to the beat of his own drum. In fact, he might march to the beat of an entire musical orchestra.
The All-Star routinely attempts to go above and beyond in regards to his wardrobe, almost attempting to one-up himself every time he steps off the team bus into the arena. Wednesday night was no different as Russell Westbrook looked every part of the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.
Wearing something you’d see on the set of a 1950’s space film, Westbrook rocked a bright, silver jacket complete with matching glasses as camera lenses did their best not to shatter from the glare.
Tell me Diddy isn’t completely jealous of that ‘shiny suit’ which he would have killed for in 1998.
Sadly the unique look didn’t help Russell Westbrook and his Oklahoma City Thunder open their season with a victory as they fell to the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 106 to 89. Westbrook was without his counterpart Kevin Durant of course who is expected to miss the first few weeks of the season (possibly more) after undergoing foot surgery. The loss was no fault of the shiny suited Russell Westbrook however as he poured in 38 points on 11 of 26 from the field while dishing out six assists and nabbing three steals.
A few fans on social media also had fun at the expense of Westbrook and his unique look which had a shocking resemblance to Steve Urkel from “Family Matters”.
That might be the greatest photo I’ve ever seen.
