The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday but both teams may be without one of their bigger NFL assets.

The NFL is getting ready for week 9 action but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns will be without some of their offensive weapons. With the two teams set to face off against each other, we have reports coming in concerning both players at the same time.

More from Cleveland Browns

Adam Schefter, as he typically does, shared the news on both stars. The Bucs will likely be without the services of starting running back Doug Martin, and the Browns will be without their starting tight end, Jordan Cameron.

Considering the roles both have played this year, it may end up not being that big of an absence.

Martin has really struggled out of the backfield since breaking out his rookie season. Tampa Bay has had a revolving door with Martin and Bobby Rainey splitting carries. With Martin likely out of the lineup this weekend, the door is wide open for rookie Charles Simms to make an impact as well.

For the Browns, Brian Hoyer will have to rely on Miles Austin and Andrew Hawkins as targets for another week. As good as Cameron was for the Browns last year, he has struggled mightily to stay on the field.

In a game that the Browns are favored by a touchdown, the Bucs will have to establish themselves early. With only one win to their credit, Tampa Bay looks a lot worse on paper than they appear to be, and should keep this one close. If the Bucs can limit mistakes, look for this to be a game they can win straight up.

Cleveland and Tampa Bay kick off from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland at 1pm ET on Sunday.
