The Cleveland Cavaliers welcomed back LeBron James on Thursday night, and he was mic’d up for the very special occasion.

When LeBron James announced he was coming back to the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, everyone circle opening night as a date they’d set aside so the festivities could be watched. Miami Heat fans — all six of them that care — were busy barfing onto the sun kissed beaches of Miami over the way the even was covered but it seemed everyone else enjoyed the night.

TNT came prepared to fully and completely document the night for the NBA, as not only was everything from the pregame warmups to the players introductions televised, LeBron James was mic’d up the whole night. The footage and audio has been compiled together to serve as a sort of diary of LeBron James’ first night back home.

Check out everything LeBron had to say during his iconic return to Cleveland on Thursday night:

The Cleveland Cavaliers are whole again, and LeBron James coming home was clearly a bigger deal than people wanted to make out of it. Once everyone realized how different ‘The Return’ was to the time LeBron James left back in 2010, everyone got on board.

It was a special night, despite the loss, that will sit in the hearts of Cavaliers fans forever. The team may have work to do before they gel together properly, but last night wasn’t about the game — it was about the moment. That moment has been captured forever and it’s something that no Cavaliers fan will ever forget.
