Some members of the Minnesota Vikings dressed up as American Gladiators for Halloween and it is glorious

Who said Halloween is just for little kids? Halloween is every bit as fun for adults as it is for the young ones who go trick or treating around the neighborhood in hopes of scoring pounds and pounds of butterfinger’s and skittles.

Some members of the Minnesota Vikings got in the Halloween spirit and dressed up as Turbo, Nitro and our favorite American Gladiators from the classic TV show. Harrison Smith, Michael Mauti, Audie Cole and Andrew Sendejo from left to right can be seen in the picture below and are now four of my favorite players in the NFL as a result of this great costume idea.

Smith is one of the best safety’s in the NFL, but I don’t know if his skills can translate to the American Gladiators arena or not. Would he be able to handle the gun in Assault with the same amount of success he can play the Cover 2?

If there is one area that these football players would absolutely do well in, it would be Breakthrough and Conquer which is just a classic Oklahoma drill with the competitor trying to get past the Gladiator in a confined space.

Now if we can get a spinoff of the show with NFL stars as Gladiators, we would all be better off as a society.

Which NFL players would you think would make the best Gladiators? I’ll take J.J. Watt and Ndamukong Suh as two of the best candidates.
