It’s the MLB offseason, and many players will take a week or two off from training to relax right after the season, and enjoy some of their hobbies, such as video games like Super Smash Bros. Ever wonder who your favorite MLB stars like to Smash with? Here’s our best guesses.

Baseball players are athletes, and athletes are competitive, but after a long MLB season, some stars like to take some time off to enjoy other hobbies they might otherwise need to ignore during the regular season, such as video games.

One upcoming game they could be excited for (like many people are) is Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. series, with the Wii U version expected later this month.

Nintendo isn’t exactly the best console for online gaming, but the Wii U version of Smash Bros. will support online features. Is there a chance you’ll bump into an MLB player playing online? Sure, but we wouldn’t put any money down on those remote chances.

Still, if you happen to be playing against one of these characters online, there’s a slight chance you could be going toe-to-toe against a guy paid to play baseball (or, y’know, it could be some annoying teenager too).
