Who are the most disappointing running backs in the NFL?

Now that we are eight weeks into the NFL season, it is time to begin evaluating individual player performances through the first half of the season. There are always that come through and surprise, and there are always players who are extremely disappointing and don’t live up to their potential and hype that they had heading into the season.

There have been quite a few running backs that have both surprised and disappointed this season, and some of the bigger names have come through with poor seasons. It may not be a running backs league anymore, but they are still very valuable to help take pressure off of quarterbacks.

With that being said, who have been the five most disappointing backs so far this season? This list will include players that have gotten in trouble off the field, and those that have simply not performed well on the field. Injuries will not be taken into consideration at this point in time, but they will be noted if a player that is on the list has missed a couple games.
