At No. 3 in the country right now, the Auburn Tigers are in prime position to eventually land themselves a spot in the College Football Playoff. However, with one loss, Nick Marshall and company will need to win the rest of their games, beginning with No. 4 Ole Miss on Saturday night, who is also vying for a spot in the bunch.
In the first half the defending SEC champions fell behind 14-7 and really couldn’t get much going on the offensive side of the ball. Well that all changed right before the half.
Watch in the video below as Nick Marshall drops back and fires a bomb down field that would be hauled in by Sammie Coates for the 57-yard, game-tying score.
With two of the best teams in the country, we figured that this would be one of the best battles of the day and it’s living up to the hype so far.
Kudos too to Coates for pulling that ball in between two of the best defenders that Ole Miss has.
