A video was recently posted that shows Auburn football coach Gus Malzahn dancing to MC Hammer’s ‘Can’t Touch This’.

Once again, the highlight of your day has arrived compliments of YouTube. Someone posted a hauntingly 90’s video of Auburn football coach Gus Malzahn dancing (or attempting to dance, depending on your interpretation) to MC Hammer’s timeless classic, ‘U Can’t Touch This’. The video, well, just watch for yourself.

As for the video, where to begin? Let’s start with the obvious VHS nature of this video. I can practically hear the tape click, set and rewind at the end of this video. The wavy, blinking flashes of green and choppy audio are so perfectly late-80s/early-90s that one can hardly doubt the veracity of this video. Also the choppy video effect that was so common in 1990’s music videos slays all involved when Malzahn gets down.

Malzahn and Auburn have had plenty to dance about this football season, as the team sits at no. 3 in the national poll, which would be good enough to vault them into a BCS playoff spot, assuming they can win out and get some help from their SEC foes. For now though, just enjoy the Hammer set to a surprisingly spry Malzahn busting a move.
