Destiny is going to be rewarding quite a few players with some shiny new armor to increase their gaming experience.

So have you decided to give up on your Destiny journey so soon? Well, Bungie is looking to lure you back in, and they may have found the perfect way to do so. Those coveted purple legendary engrams that can turn into gear pushing your level past the 20 threshold, are awaiting some players for free.
In Destiny, after hitting level 20, your level is increased through light gained from high level armor. The legendary gear needed to further your ability in the game is rather hard to come by, and even more difficult to understand upon hitting the level 20 soft cap.
Now through emails being sent out to certain players, Bungie is addressing the issue. The email states that checking with the Postmaster at the Tower should leave a smile on players faces as they equip a new legendary piece of armor. On top of that, it explains, to a further extent, how to increase your light level and the purpose for doing so.
Should you find yourself one of the players looking to break through that level 20 barrier, make sure to check your email and thank Bungie for having you covered.
This is a great move on Bungie’s part and should entice a handful of people to get back into Destiny. Increasing your level past 20 is very poorly explained, and the game is rather difficult in rewarding necessary engrams. I am currently sitting at level 27, and with no matchmaking system for the raid, find little care in farming to continue to increase my level.
Hopefully Bungie decides to add a matchmaking component to the game sooner rather than later. I’ve loved Destiny thus far, just would like to not have to rely on others to enjoy in the experience.
