As with every week, there were some surprising performances once again during Week 9 of the NFL action. Stepping in for Giovani Bernard, Jeremy Hill can be counted amongst the best of them.

Following his strong performance on Sunday, Hill took to Twitter to express his desire for a little bump in Madden 15.

And EA obliged.

Hill’s overall rating increased four points to 79 and he saw boosts in the following categories as well: SPD (+2), ACC (+1), AWR (+4), CAR (+1), TRK (+1), ELUS (+7), BCVision (+2), SFA (+3), JKM (+1), CIT (+2) and RTE (+2).

There were a few other players receiving notable ratings increases:

THREE UP
Chris Bortland – LB – SF (+4 to 77 OVR)
DeAndre Hopkins – WR – HOU (+3 to 83 OVR)
Martavis Bryant – WR – PIT (+3 to 75 OVR)

On the other side, there were three Pro Bowl quarterbacks watching their ratings drop. Among them was the Seahawks Russell Wilson. Looking rather shaky against the lowly Raiders, Wilson sees his overall rating drop two points to 89 and other changes in AWR (-1), THA (-3), JKM (+1), TAS, (-2), TAM, (-2), TAD (-2), PAC (-3) and TOR: 87 (-2).

Other players receiving decreases included:

THREE DOWN
Frank Gore – RB – SF (-2 to 88 OVR)
Cam Newton – QB – CAR (-2 to 87 OVR)
Philip Rivers – QB – SD (-2 to 89 OVR)
