Former NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers gave some of his Green Bay Packers teammates male thongs for a Christmas present.

Not only is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers an elite talent he’s also a well known prankster who likes to have fun not only with fans but his teammates.

I mean this is the same guy who decided to dress up in a full denim outfit and continually photobombs the official team photographer who posts pictures to the Green Bay Packers website. Needless to say, when he’s not throwing the football around or studying in the film room there’s a good chance he’s trying to make somebody laugh.

Case in point, last year around Christmas the Green Bay Packers quarterback decided he needed to get everybody presents, especially his fellow signal callers. But what do you get them? Sure, he could go the traditional route and get them a video game system or a laptop computer. But more likely than not, they already have those.

So what did Aaron Rodgers eventually decide on? Well, according to Packers teammate and wide receiver Jordy Nelson who appeared on the Dan Patrick Show, the Pro Bowl talent decided to get his fellow signal callers male thongs.

“Last year [for Christmas] — I don’t know if I can explain it — it was an undergarment for men who might wear it if they were a stripper,” Nelson said.

While that is plenty of reason to laugh, Nelson went on to further explain the gag and quizzed Rodgers on how he actually purchased the underwear. Most, like Nelson would have assumed that Aaron Rodgers would have purchased the threads online though the Green Bay Packers quarterback wasn’t having that.

“And my question to him was, ‘Did you actually stand in line to buy that, or did you buy it online?’ And he told me he stood in line, which I still don’t know if I can believe.”

A picture of Aaron Rodgers holding a bunch of male thongs in a department store line around Black Friday might be the greatest thing in history.
