Cleveland Browns Jerseys Are On Fire In A Good Way
By Josh Hill
The Cleveland Browns are in first place for the first time since 1994, and they’re dominating the game off the field too with jersey sales that rival the Denver Broncos.

The Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos have a storied history thanks to their matchups in back-to-back AFC Championship games in 1987 and 1988 but they’re once again being mentioned in the same sentence as the AFC playoff race heats up. Both teams are in first place and both teams are going head-to-head in jersey sales with the Browns beating out the Bears and Broncos for the best selling team jersey of the season.
According to DICK’s Jersey Report, the Browns are on fire with jersey sales this season and are leading an AFC North that is out of control in the marketplace.
The boost in jersey sales comes thanks to the team actually winning for the first time in 20 years — that one fluky playoff season in 2002 aside. Something else that needs to be noted is that Brian Hoyer is finally getting some love with jersey sales after getting beat out by Johnny Manziel all season long.
The Browns have been winning, driving Brian Hoyer’s jersey to No. 4 in overall jersey sales for the past week. Joining Hoyer in the top ten is Johnny Manziel — who has been high on sales charts all season long. Despite not playing, his jersey is still more popular this week than star QBs Eli Manning, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers.
For once, the Browns are on fire and their jerseys are too, just not in the way fans are used to. There’s a lot of pride going around Cleveland at the moment and that’s being reflected in the boost in jersey sales that won’t slow down so long as the Browns continue this miracle season.
