Alabama women’s basketball player Hannah Cook is really good at playing basketball with only one shoe

Hannah Cook was just reacting instinctively during Alabama’s game against Duke when she lost her shoe and let her adrenaline and instincts take over after losing her shoe and chucking it aside.

Cook found herself in a precarious position when she found herself with one shoe on her foot and one shoe in her hand and didn’t have enough time to slide the shoe back on her foot before play resumed and with Duke possessing the ball, her team was unable to call a time out.

So what’s a girl to do?

Play ball, that’s what.

Cook tossed the shoe out of bounds, ran down the court and scored a basket.

Unfortunately Cook’s quick thinking was not enough to help the Crimson Tide hoops team as they were bown out by the Blue Devils by the score of 90-40, but hey, at least Cook has a funny story to tell her friends and family, right?

The 6-foot freshman guard from Missouri led the Tide with 19 points in the loss. She was a three-time All-State selection after finishing her career as Ozark high school’s leader in points and steals. She was ranked by ESPN as the No. 24 overall wing recruit in her class.
