Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets Rescheduled For Monday Night in Detroit
The NFL has scheduled the Bills–Jets to play in Detroit on Monday because of weather restrictions.
A time and date has been set for the Week 12 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets after a brutal snowstorm made the game unable to play in Buffalo, New York.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets and Bills will play their scheduled game on Monday night in the city of Detroit inside Ford Field.
After seeing how Buffalo was hit by the cold wave that took place across the United States, it was seemingly impossible for the Jets and Bills to play their Sunday matchup unless a drastic weather change had taken place from now until then. Photos of the Bills’ stadium shows snow up to the goal posts, blanketing the entire stadium in a precious white.

This move is similar to the change made in December of 2010 when the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles were forced to postpone a Sunday Night Football matchup until the following Tuesday due to a snowstorm caving in the Metrodome, forcing the NFL to play its first Tuesday game in 60-plus years.
Bills vs. Jets will join the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints, the regularly scheduled Monday Night Football game.
Right now the Buffalo Bills are third in the AFC East with a record of 5-5; the New York Jets are last within the division at 2-8.
