The game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills has been moved to Ford Field in Detroit after a blizzard of epic proportions and fans in the Motor City can go to the game for free

More from Buffalo Bills

An historic blizzard in Buffalo has forced the Bills to relocate their previously scheduled Sunday home game to Detroit where the home of the Lions will serve as the temporary home of the Bills as they “host” the New York Jets on Monday night.

The good news for football fans in Detroit is they can go to the game, if they’re so inclined to see Kyle Orton and Michael Vick quarterback their respective franchises, for free.

A matchup of a 5-5 team from New York taking on a 2-8 team from New York in Detroit should be free if they hope to attract any fans inside Ford Field, so this is a cool deal for fans who may not be able to afford the high prices to watch their hometown Detroit Lions.

This could be an opportunity to load up the entire family and go to a game that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend.

Sure, the product on the field won’t compare to seeing the Lions hosting division rivals like the Packers or the Bears, but this will be a memorable game nonetheless because of the circumstances surrounding it.
