One San Francisco Giants fan is selling his lucky boxers on eBay following the team’s World Series victory.

Sports fans and superstitions go hand-in-hand.

Many of us have that one thing we have to do or have to eat or have to wear while our favorite team is in the midst of a big game.

One San Francisco Giants fan’s superstition was wearing the same boxers during the team’s 2014 playoff run.

And now, following the Giants’ World Series victory, he is attempting to pass that good-luck charm off to someone else through an eBay auction that begins at $500.

Here’s how the fan describes the item:

"Lucky Boxers! Worn during every San Francisco Giants 2014 playoff game all the way through World Series. The Giants are the 2014 World Series champions! Boxers were worn everyday during playoffs and during every game and never washed. Boxers have still not been washed and retain their good luck juju*. Get them in time for your team in the NFL or NCAA Football playoffs. Boxers are blue with lime prints and are Gap size L. Starting bid is $500. This is a steal."

We’re just going to assume that this is a great joke by this fan because it’s hard to imagine anyone truly believing that someone would buy their boxers for $500 and consider it a steal.

On another note, it can’t be good karma for this fan to consider getting rid of his good-luck charm. The Baseball Gods clearly blessed these boxers and now this guy’s trying to bail on them.

This certainly isn’t a good sign for the Giants’ 2015 World Series chances.
