Craig Sager Returns To TV At Coaches Vs. Cancer
By Hayden Kane
Craig Sager has become known as a fixture on basketball sidelines as a reporter for the last number of years. Unfortunately he had to step away for cancer treatment this year, but made a nice return to television before the Coaches vs. Cancer classic this week.
You know Craig Sager as the guy who wears the crazy, and often outstanding, suits and outfits when covering the NBA and college basketball from the sidelines. Besides the outfits, Sager had established himself as a well-liked and professional reporter.

Unfortunately Sager was forced to leave his gig because he was diagnosed with leukemia this past April. He was able to leave the hospital in May after treatment, but it still is not known if or when he will be able to return to the sidelines.
In the meantime, Sager made a brief return to television to introduce the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic this week. In the short message, Sager addresses his own diagnosis and the work that is being done thanks to events and organizations like Coaches vs. Cancer.
Check out the video below.
It is great to see Sager make a brief return to television, and we send him continued good wishes in his recovery.
