LeBron James appears frustrated and irritated at the Cleveland Cavaliers slow start the season.

Talented as the Cleveland Cavaliers are on paper most understood that they were going to take some time to gel. Of course, few expected things to be this bad as LeBron James and his Cavs seem to be struggling for air as they dropped their third consecutive game on Friday night.

Now sitting at 5-6 and giving up one of the highest points per game averages in the NBA, concern over the Cleveland Cavaliers slow start is beginning to mount and it’s possible James could be feeling it.

There have already been issues with Kyrie Irving though both players downplayed the mini-spat while there have also been suggestions that head coach David Blatt isn’t having his voice heard over James’.

Such has seemingly started to take its toll on LeBron who remained in the Cleveland Cavliers locker room after their most recent loss, head hanging low long after his teammates had left as noted by ESPN.

"The last time he lost three games in a row was in last year’s Finals and we all know the chain of events that occurred in response to that. Maybe that’s why James could be found sitting with his head down in front of his locker long after the loss Friday and later quoted Martin Luther King Jr. in a tweet mentioning that “challenge and controversy” show the “ultimate measure of a man.” It was a far cry from his own quote following the San Antonio loss when James said he had a “sense of comfort” because he’d experienced a rocky start with Miami already."

When LeBron James decided to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers he probably didn’t expect it to be a cakewalk at first though it seems difficult to imagine he felt it would be this hard.

Of course there is plenty of time for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to get back on track and it’s very likely that they will, though the adversity seems to be more challenging and frustrating than expected.
