Week 12 of the 2014 NFL season is just about wrapped up with a pair of Monday Night Football games tonight to close out the week tonight.  While some fantasy owners had big weeks and continued their playoff push, others struggled and stumbled due to these week 12 biggest busts.

Hopefully you managed to avoid these players who performed well below expectations and left their fantasy owners searching for answers.  Here are week 12 biggest busts in fantasy football divided by position with QB’s on this slide and RB, WR, and TE on the following slides.  Click next at the bottom of the page or use your arrow keys to navigate the woeful list.

Quarterback Busts

Robert Griffin III-Washington Redskins: Griffin was under attack all day from the 49ers defense and never got anything going in the passing game on Sunday.  Griffin only threw for 106 yards on 11 completions on his 19 pass attempts. He didn’t throw any interceptions and lost a fumble in Washington’s loss on the Left Coast.

Matthew Stafford-Detroit Lions: The Lions were the latest team to take a pounding from the Patriots and Stafford’s numbers suffered as a result.  He completed only 18 of his 46 pass attempts for 264 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.  Stafford and the Lions have a quick turnaround as they face the Bears on Thanksgiving, and I expect a bounce back performance against Chicago’s struggling defense.

Jay Cutler-Chicago Bears: Against the Bucs, Cutler and the Bears didn’t look good but did get the win.  Cutler threw one touchdown and 130 yards while only completing 17 of his 27 passes and losing a fumble as well.

Ryan Mallett-Houston Texans: Mallett couldn’t get the Texans into the end zone all day as the only TD in their 22-13 loss. (The only touchdown that Houston got was on an interception return.)  Mallett completed only 21 of his 45 passes while getting just 189 yards and throwing an interception.
