Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin ripped his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, for their poor play-calling against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.

The Dallas Cowboys took on their NFC East divisional rivals, the New York Giants, on Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys got off to a lackluster start falling behind to the Giants, 21-10, at the end of the first half.

Former Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, who works as an NFL analyst now, ripped the play-calling on Twitter. His point being that the Cowboys neglected the run, the part of the offense that many credit for the team’s success this year.

His last Tweet came during the first-half, so it is safe to say he was much more pleased in the second half. The Cowboys got two third quarter touchdowns to take the lead and eventually needed a touchdown drive inside the two-minute warning to get the win.
