Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are squaring off for the first time in theirNFL careers, but who sells more jerseys?

More from Green Bay Packers

It is hard to believe that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady haver never met on the football field before, but when they play one another on Sunday it will be for the first time. While they haven’t met on the field before, they’ve been squaring off in jersey sales for their whole careers, along with the rest of the NFL.

The folks at the Jersey Report track the sales of NFL jerseys at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online. Thanks to a nifty feature on their site, you can compare the jersey sales of two players, so we pitted Rodgers against Brady over the last 30 days and it is clear that Brady has been dominating the sales with the exception of one stretch of a few days in the middle of the month.

They both wear the No. 12, as Patriots head coach Bill Belichick so eloquently pointed out when asked about the similarities between the two players, which is the highest selling jersey number in the NFL. Neither one of them is the highest selling No. 12 jersey though, that title goes to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

Out of players that wear No. 12, Brady is the second biggest seller this season accounting for 26 percent of sales. Rodgers accounts for nearly half that total with just 13 percent.

Looks like it is advantage Brady in this showdown.
