Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Joe Harris is in awe of the things he watches LeBron James do on an NBA court.

Before the 2014 NBA Draft there’s a pretty good chance you had never heard of Joe Harris. Hell, up until last week when rumors suggested Harris could take over the Cleveland Cavaliers starting shooting guard position, you probably hadn’t heard of the rookie.

But the second-round pick out of Virginia seems to be living the dream as not only does he find himself in the NBA, he’s also playing significant minutes and doing so on a championship caliber team. Oh, and he gets to play alongside LeBron James who he is in complete awe of as he noted to For The Win when asked about which player has impressed him the most.

“LBJ, no question. This man does some of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen on a basketball floor. Kyrie is not far behind though. LeBron is just more of a physical specimen … makes you wonder how a man of that size can move the way he does.”

Even though LeBron James hasn’t played up to his usual standard (even at his worst he’s better than just about everybody else), it’s been enough to impress the rookie who seemingly can’t come to grips with the fact that he can call King James his teammate.

Despite Harris’ love for James’ game, the rookie says he spends the most time with veteran talent like Mike Miller and James Jones who’ve been showing him the ropes and preparing him for NBA life.

So often we see rookies hit the proverbial wall halfway into the season but given Harris’ importance to the Cavaliers, the hope is that the sharpshooter will continue his solid all-around play throughout the year.
