If there was one thing the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines matchup didn’t need was more bad blood, but Ohio’s Bri’onte Dunn decided to add a bit of chum to the water before the two teams square off at the Horseshoe on Saturday.
So what did he do, you ask? Perhaps take a shot at the Wolverines? Give a bulletin board quote?
Actually, none of the above as his shot was a bit more personal and included the girlfriend of Michigan safety Jarrod Wilson.
For those not up on the social media terminology, many men on Instagram will post a photo of a woman they find attractive on Wednesday and entitle the picture “WCW” (woman crush Wednesday). Juvenile, yes, but it’s become quite the popular fad so work with me here.
Anyway, Buckeyes running back Bri’onte Dunn decided to post a picture of his “WCW” which just so happened to be the girlfriend of the Wolverines’ Wilson.
Shots fired. Hell, that’s more like blowing up a fireworks stand than shooting off a few shots.
Now, Wilson is from Ohio (despite playing for the rival Wolverines) and it’s likely both Dunn and Wilson have a prior relationship so this is likely nothing but a friendly exchange. That said, it’s still ice cold though that doesn’t take away from the hilarity of it all.
We’ll see who has the final laugh this weekend after the two meet up in one of the most anticipated games of the season.
