There was a slight chance that the unrest in Ferguson could force the NFL to move Sunday’s game between the Raiders and Rams, but it will stay in St. Louis.

It was previously reported that there was a “slight chance” the NFL could choose to move Sunday’s game between the Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams from the Edward Jones Dome in Missouri, because of the unrest in Ferguson following the grand jury’s decision relating to the Michael Brown death.

After weighing all options for a few days, the NFL has decided to keep the game put.

Since the grand jury’s decision, there has been plenty of unrest in Ferguson with protestors taking the streets to voice their displeasure with the situation and fight for justice.

While the family of Michael Brown has urged protestors to remain peaceful, there have been some violent turns.

With the protests beginning to settle, the NFL has decided that the Rams and Raiders game can go on as planned at the Edward Jones Dome.
