Hopefully, your Thanksgiving was all you hoped it would be with all the fixins and desserts in abundance.  The Lions, Eagles, and Seahawks gave their fans a little extra to celebrate with their big Turkey Day wins, and some fantasy football owners got an extra helping of points.  Here are all the Thanksgiving Day top performers who put up the most points for their fantasy owners on a great day of football, feasting, and fantasy:

Calvin Johnson-WR-Detroit Lions

The Lions put up the top three performances in their romp over the Bears in the early game.  Megatron made quick work of the Bears sad secondary piling up 146 yards on his 11 catches while finding the end zone twice.  Johnson is definitely a top WR1 despite some ups and downs this season.

Joique Bell-RB-Detroit Lions

Johnson wasn’t the only Lion to find the end zone multiple times as Joique Bell ran for a pair of touchdowns.  He racked up 91 yards on 23 rushes and added 16 more yards on a pair of receptions.

Matthew Stafford-QB-Detroit Lions

Stafford came back from a pair of tough road games and threw for 390 yards against the Bears completing the top-three Lions in our Thanksgiving Day top performers.  Stafford threw a pair of touchdowns to Calvin Johnson and turned in a solid Thanksgiving performance.

Mark Sanchez-QB-Philadlephia Eagles

The highest-scoring non-Lion was Sanchez who led his team to victory in the second game of the day in a solid road performance in Dallas.  Sanchez completed 20 of his 29 passes for 217 yards while throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another as part of his 28 yards rushing.

LeSean McCoy-RB-Philadelphia Eagles

McCoy has re-emerged in the last two weeks as his #1 RB self running, and he kept the ball rolling on Thursday going for a season-high 159 yards on 25 carries and getting into the end zone for the third time in the last four weeks. after having just one rushing touchdown in the first nine weeks of the season.

Alshon Jeffery-WR-Chicago Bears

Jeffery helped his fantasy owners to a big game despite a tough week for the Bears.  He caught a pair of touchdowns giving him four scores in his last three weeks and finished with 71 yards on his nine catches.

DeMarco Murray-RB-Dallas Cowboys

Murray managed only 73 yards on his 20 carries in Dallas’s loss.  He saved his fantasy day and still found his way into our Thanksgiving Day top performers with a rushing touchdown while adding 40 yards receiving on six catches.

Seattle Seahawks D/ST

The star of the nightcap was Seattle’s defense so it’s definitely fitting that they were the highest scoring fantasy player as well.  Seattle held the 49ers to just three points while forcing three turnovers including a pair of picks by Richard Sherman.  They added three sacks of Colin Kaepernick and held Frank Gore to just 28 yards rushing and Michael Crabtree to just 10 yards receiving.
