There is only one more chance for Heisman hopefuls to make their case for the most prestigious individual in college football before the Heisman is handed out, so let’s take a look at this week’s Heisman watch entering Week 15

One week is left in the college football regular season with some Heisman hopefuls having already played their final down of the season while others have their conference championship games this weekend and those in the Big 12 play their final conference game.

The last few weeks has seen the Heisman race turn into a two-man chase with Wisconsin’s record-breaking running back Melvin Gordon going up against Oregon’s Marcus Mariota who leads the nation in quarterback rating and has the Ducks in position to play for the national title.

However, Amari Cooper hopes to become the first receiver to win the award since 1991 after a record-breaking performance, an injury to a record-breaking quarterback shakes up the Heisman watch list and for the first time this year a defensive player made the top 10.

After reading through the list, please leave your thoughts and opinions on list in the comments section below. Let us know who you think is ranked too high or too low and who you would add to the list.

Without further ado, here is the college football player rankings list entering the final week of the 2014 college football season.

The Heisman ceremony is Saturday, Dec. 13 and will be televised on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET
