The Big Ten Championship Game is this weekend, and the Wisconsin Badgers are going to be wearing some flashy new cleats to celebrate the occasion.

It’s been a wild season in the Big Ten which is starting to see an upswing in quality. For another straight season, the Wisconsin Badgers are in the Big Ten title game and are in a position to win their third Big Ten title.

Of the four Big Ten Championships there have been — including the yet-to-be played fourth installment — Wisconsin has won two. It’s safe to say that the Badgers are more than excited to be in the position they’re in and while they’re the lower ranked of the two teams, they’re in line to make it a trio of Big Ten titles.

To mark the occasion, the Badgers are trotting out flashy new cleats to make sure everyone knows that Ohio State is bringing the higher national ranking but the Badgers are bringing the swagger.

The cleats are a little on the obnoxious side but that’s basically what college football is. Those cleats are as big of a recruiting tool as the two — and possibly three — Big Ten titles that Wisconsin has. You can’t win a game with cleats, but the Badgers are clearly showing that they’re in no way fazed by the idea of facing the Buckeyes this weekend.
