Watch out, NFL. The folks over at FOX News delivered a doozy of a report on Monday morning by suggesting congress could step in to cancel the Super Bowl

This is either one of the greatest trolls of all time or one of the most ridiculous reports to ever come across the newswire.

We will go with the later.

Before Monday’s edition of the hit comedy news show FOX and Friends, we were left with this stunning bit of news on social media.

Then things got even better.

In a segment that is surprisingly not a skit from Saturday Night Live or The Daily Show, the FOX and Friends crew explained why an expiring terrorism insurance act could lead to congress canceling the big game.

Let’s allow them to do the talking, since they somehow managed to keep a straight face.

While the news could be troubling to some of those people who panic over everything they see on the internet or on FOX News, the chances of the Super Bowl actually being canceled are slim to none.
