Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze was very proud of the GPA that his team collectively turned in this year, even though a lot of people weren’t all that impressed.

While it may not have ended the way it appeared it was going to at one point, 2014 was an amazing year for Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebels on the football field. At one point the Rebels were considered one of the top teams in the country, favorites for the College Football Playoff and are the only team to hand a loss to the No. 1 team in the country, Alabama.

Apparently, though, the Rebels did pretty well in the classroom too, as Freeze pointed out on twitter Thursday.

Yeah, I know what most of you are thinking: “That’s like a C+!” Trust me, people were more than willing to get on twitter and point this out to Freeze.

Yeah, well, Coach Freeze is GLAD ALL OF YOU ON TWITTER ARE GENIUSES!

He does have a point about the number of players on the team that factor into these averages. Plus, the average was probably picked up a lot by Bo Wallace because, well…Dr Bo!
