Channing Tatum Brags In An Email, Junior High Style

Channing Tatum might remind some people of that cool guy in junior high or high school who made fun of everybody else. In a leaked email that is part of the Sony hack, Tatum comes off as just such a cocky junior high kid.

The entertainment world has been shook in recent weeks by the Sony email hacking…situation. There have been a number of high-profile leaks and we might not be done yet learning different things from Sony pictures as the hacked information comes out.

As for the contents of the leaks, they range from serious to silly, from frustrating to hilarious. Count this email from Channing Tatum as one of the hilarious ones.

I’m sure that Mr. Tatum is an intelligent, nice person. But based on the characters he sometimes plays in movies, you could reasonably envision Channing Tatum as a cocky guy who thinks he’s better than everybody else because he is good-looking and has muscles. You might also imagine, fairly or not, that the guy is kind of a meat-head.

That all might be reasonably refuted by those who know Tatum, but this leaked email is hilarious in that it seems like exactly the kind of email Channing Tatum would write based on those perceptions. Check it out:

"F YOU TED !!!! SECOND OF ALLLL TIMMMMME BEEEOTCH!!!! COME ON JUMPSTREETERS WE GOT CATE BLANCHETT WIT DIS BOX OFFICE BITCHES!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA…"

Well alright then, Channing. I’m just sayin’, don’t get mad when we associate you with the stereotype of some of your characters. Take my word for it that the “HAHAHA” goes on for like, a really long time.

That’s a whole lot of capital letters and a whole lot of ‘HAHA’ in one email, you know?
