As the NBA continues through a busy week, there are seven games scheduled for today with six on tap for tonight.  If you’re playing daily league fantasy basketball, there are some nice opportunitie with FanDuel Daily Picks in leagues that only count the 7:00 and later start times.  Normally, you can find our daily picks here on FanSided Fantasy with full write-ups, but for sake of time you can find our fast-break, rapid-fire picks for tonight’s games below.

More from Charlotte Hornets

After an extended game in San Antonio last night, the Blazers play again as they visit the Pelicans in the Big Easy in one of the better games of the night.  Most of the attention, though, will be on the Mavericks as they host the Spurs and welcome their new addition to the team—Rajon Rondo.  For fantasy purposes, I’d give Rondo a bit to get settled before investing heavily in him in daily formats, but it will be interesting to see how his presence affects rotations, roles, and effectiveness in Big D.  Plus, any time the Mavs host their in-state rivals who are also the defending champions, it’s a great game to watch.  In another game featuring a new addition, the Rockets and Corey Brewer host the Hawks who are looking to build off their big win in Cleveland.

For today and tomorrow, I’ll have to go rapid-fire through my picks, but on Monday I’ll get back to the fully expanded write-ups. Good luck in your daily league, and here are my quick picks for tonight’s action:

PG-Kemba Walker-Charlotte Hornets: Walker scored 30 points last night against the Sixers and remains the focus of the Hornets offense. He’s scored 35 or more FanDuel points in five of his last six and is in a good matchup tonight against the Jazz

PG-Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks: Schroder should get another start tonight as Jeff Teague is doubtful.  He had a double-double on Wednesday in his start against Cleveland and scored 26.4 FanDuel points. Make sure Teague is out, than make Schroder one of your FanDuel Daily Picks.

SG-Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs: With Kawhi Leonard out, Green has taken over a bigger role in the Spurs attack and has had big games in each of the Spurs last two games.  He scored 50.9 FanDuel points on Wednesday and followed that up last night with 38.5 FanDuel points on 27 points and 10 rebounds against the Blazers.  He contributes in so many categories that he’s a nice add any time he’s getting big minutes.

SG-Gary Neal-Charlotte Hornets: Neal has 19 FanDuel points or more in each of his last three games as he’s played a bigger role off the bench for the Hornets.  He’s a nice low-cost play who can give you good production at a good price.

SF-Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz: Hayward contributes across the board in multiple categories and has at least 28 FanDuel points in each of his last seven games including a pair of 40+ performances.

SF-Jared Dudley-Milwaukee Bucks: Dudley is playing more minutes after the injury to Jabari Parker and turned in a solid 19-point performance on Thursday finishing with 28.5 Fanduel points in 33 minutes.  He should again see extended more time tonight against the Clippers in LA.

PF-Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers: The Bucks front court is banged up and undersized, so look for Blake Griffin to do work down low late tonight. Griffin has scored 30+ points in each of his last two games and has at least 30 FanDuel points in four straight games.  He is definitely a great play as he goes after another double-double while also contributing solid assist, block, and steals numbers.  He’s a pricey play, but one that should pay off big-time given the state of the Bucks frontline tonight.

PF-Thomas Robinson-Portland Trail Blazers: Robinson is playing more minutes for Portland after the injury to Robin Lopez.  He’s played over 25 minutes in each of the two games since that for the Blazers and has one huge game where he dominated for 15 points and 16 rebounds.  He struggled a bit last night in San Antonio, but I expect a bounce back performance tonight making him a nice value play for our Fanduel Daily picks.

C-Dwight Howard-Houston Rockets: Howard is probable for tonight, but if you can afford the big man he’s worth the money based on his consistent, high-level production.  He’s had three straight double-doubles with at least 13 rebounds and three blocks since returning from his most recent injury.  If he’s able to go tonight, he should be able to dominate the Hawks big men and produce a win for your daily league fantasy basketball team.
