Who will step up and play their way into the NFL Playoffs?

Entering Week 16, five out of the eight divisions are still up for grabs and 16 teams are still alive for a spot in the playoffs.

Currently, the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts have locked up their divisions, but there’s still a lot to play for in terms of seeding for the playoffs.

In all honesty, I can’t believe the playoff race is this close so late in the season. Typically, there’s usually a few teams who are a cut above the rest of the league, not this season.

While there are some teams obviously better than everyone, the rest of the pack is way too close to call. Even the teams I consider better than the rest, like New England, Denver, Green Bay, and Seattle, still have a long way to go before they can even think about the Super Bowl.

Last season, Denver was easily the best team in the AFC and Seattle was the best in NFC. This season, I have no idea.

Anything I think I know about this NFL season keeps getting flipped on its head every week. It’s crazy!

Green Bay beats New England, and then loses against Buffalo.

Arizona loses two straight games against Seattle and Atlanta, looks left for dead, and then beats Kansas City.

The Chiefs were tied with the Broncos at 7-3 for the lead in the division, and then they lose three straight games to fall out of the playoff race, basically. Now, like zombies, the Chiefs have come back from the dead and basically control their own destiny with games against two other teams in the NFL playoff race, Pittsburgh and San Diego.

If nothing else, this season has been unpredictable, and I feel like that’s an understatement.

With only two games remaining in the NFL season, the pressure is on for the top players and team leaders to perform at a high level and solidify their team’s spot in the playoffs.

Who is going to step up and lead their team to the postseason?
