Miami Dolphins Tell Team Joe Philbin Will Return In 2015

After looking like Joe Philbin might have coached his way out of Miami, the Dolphins win over the Minnesota Vikings has secured another year for Philbin in Miami.

Joe Philbin was has been hearing about his job security for weeks now, as the rocky ground he’s been standing on dates back to ‘Bullygate 2013’, but he now has the security he has been looking for.
After the Minnesota Vikings rolled into Miami and got bounced in incredibly comeback fashion, Stephen Ross had a pretty strong message for Joe Philbin and the Dolphins. Following the win, the Miami Dolphins confirmed that Philbin will return in 2015.
Before the game, there were reports that Auburn head coach Guz Malzahn would deb a candidate to replace Philbin in Miami but things have clearly changed. In the span of five minutes, the Dolphins went from giving up two touchdowns in the span of 11-seconds to winning the game on a blocked punt safety.
Those five minutes gave been the most critical to saving Mhilbin’s job in Miami and it’s an opportunity he had better not squander away.
