Darren Sproles’ Wife Rips Philadelphia Eagles Fans

Michel Sproles, wife of Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles, took to Instagram to send a message to fans bitter over the team’s lack of historic success.
The Philadelphia Eagles may end up as the most deserving team to miss the playoffs. In a conference in which a team with a losing record will claim a playoff spot, the 9-6 Eagles are already eliminated from playoff contention after a stunning loss to the Washington Redskins.
Predictably, fans took to social media to lament another year in Philadelphia without a Super Bowl. Unpredictably, Darren Sproles’ wife shot back on her Instagram account at those who took it too far.
She does have a point. Darren Sproles, likely one of the many Eagles players to get lambasted by angry Twitter users, is only one part of the equation and not even a main part of it.
To blame any one player for the team’s failures is probably a dim view on things to begin with, given that it’s a 53-man roster for each team. To take it personal and go on Twitter is inviting a response like the one Michel offered — which you can see below.
