Peyton Manning will turn 39 before the start of the 2015-16 NFL season and he is owed nearly $20 million, but that won’t stop the Denver Broncos from hoping he returns.

Will Peyton Manning return in 2015? It will be interesting to see, but the soon-to-be 39 year old seems to believe he will be around for at least a couple of more years. The Denver Broncos are also hoping that he returns.

Broncos head coach John Fox addressed the issue on Christmas Day.

“I would say when you’re kind of in the top three quarterbacks in the league, maybe the top of all time, I’d say there’s a pretty good likelihood,” Fox said, via Pro Football Talk.  “He’s had a tremendous year, there is no doubt.  We’ve still got things to get done and [we are] looking forward to the opportunity.

“It’s cliché but in this business you pretty much stay one week at a time. So probably not a lot of conversation, but if you’re asking me moving forward, would we like that opportunity?  I’d say yes.”

The Broncos have very few options behind the future Hall of Famer, so it would make sense for the team to hope he returns.

If not, there could be a huge drop-off in production from the team.
