In a reported move that might stun some, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller might see a move to the ACC in his future.

Braxton Miller may indeed be having some thoughts about moving on from the Ohio State Buckeyes, and a move could land him in the ACC.

According to a report from Blue Devil Lair, the perennial Heisman contender has expressed interest in heading off to play with the Duke Blue Devils in 2015. In addition to Miller, Florida signal caller Jeff Driskel has also pondered a move there as well.

"However, Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel has been released to Duke. among other schools. Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, according to sources, has expressed interest in transferring to Duke as well. Both Driskel and Miller would be eligible to play next season."

Now this is an interesting turn of events, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not all that shocking.

Miller injured his shoulder before the 2014 started and underwent surgery that kept him out the entire season. His replacement, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett, not only succeeded, but he put Ohio State in a position to enter the College Football Playoff. In the last game of the season against Michigan, Barrett went down and third-stringer Cardale Jones shined in the Big Ten title game, showing depth at the position that could force a transfer from Miller.

It’s n0t known at this time just how much interest in a Duke transfer was expressed, but just the fact that it was even shown at all proves that Miller might be moving on from Columbus, whether it’s Duke or anywhere else.
