Gary Kubiak not interested in leaving Baltimore Ravens
By Josh Hill
Gary Kubiak has reinvented himself with the Baltimore Ravens, and that’s something that could hold him back from taking head coaching offers this offseason.
The Baltimore Ravens are in New England to take on the Patriots on Saturday afternoon, but there is talk outside of the game that may end up involving offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak. After a lost season with the Houston Texans, the long time head coach was fired in 2013 and took up residence on John Harbaugh’s staff in Baltimore.

Since his time there, Kubiak has helped reinvent both himself and the Ravens offense, which is a hard task in itself. Joe Flacco is having a great year, the offense is getting by with a no-name running back and they’re almost favored to beat the Patriots on the road in the playoffs.
But the prospect of becoming a head coach is something that is tempting to all coordinators in the game, which has Ravens fans worried that Kubiak could be a one-and-done.
According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, KUbiak loves the Ravens and isn’t really all that interested in seeking out another head coaching job.
This could all change if the right job comes along, but the chances of that happening are slim. Oakland, New York, Chicago and San Francisco are the best openings in the NFL at the moment with Buffalo possibly being a place where Kubiak could flourish.
But he’s flourishing right now with the Ravens, which is something he’s not yet ready to dip out on. He’s made Joe Flacco into a near-elite quarterback in one year, and by justifying that massive contract Flacco has, Kubiak is quickly turning into a legend in Baltimore.
For now, that legend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
