Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said his “New York Bozo” call meant nothing, disappoints NFL fans everywhere.

One of the most interesting parts of the Green Bay Packers game against the Dallas Cowboys, before that whole Dez Bryant catch and overturned call fiasco, was quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ “New York Bozo” call at the line of scrimmage.

It instantly caught the attention of fans watching the game at home on television and they all began to wonder what it meant. Was it referring to someone?

Well sure enough, Rodgers was asked about it and he provided an answer. Unfortunately it wasn’t really the answer anyone was hoping for.

“Did you guys hear that?” Rodgers said, via ESPN. “Our guys don’t know what that means, either. I don’t know if you caught what David [Bakhtiari] said after I said that. Nobody knew what that meant. It didn’t obviously mean anything.”

It appears it was just a dummy call that meant nothing, referred to no one and was just Rodgers ad-libbing at the line.

Boo.
