The host of the Tonight Show went head-to-head against a robot in beer pong

Jimmy Fallon likes drinking beer, playing with balls and challenging a robot to a ping pong game. That’s exactly the scene from the Tonight Show recently, as Jimmy Fallon took on a futuristic robot in a game of beer pong.

Fallon, on his show Friday night had technology guru Joshua Topolsky on to display the newest invention from Empire Robotics, the Versaball system.

The robot is programmed to pick up ping pong balls and fling them at the cup much like a human would when playing beer pong but probably with more accuracy.

Fallon, decided to have a little fun when playing against the robot, using one-liners and a demonstrative “USA” chant because of his pride in the latest of American technology.

How cool is a robot that can play beer pong?  Empire Robotics has made it possible now to not even need a friend to play a game of beer pong with. Now you have the power to never leave home to find a friend to play beer pong with.

It doesn’t appear the robot drinks beer however. I don’t think drinking the robot’s beer will be a problem for anyone playing at home.

Jimmy Fallon is a fan of the robot and with such a clever invention, don’t be surprised to see your neighbors playing their robot in beer pong either.
