An Indianapolis cupcake shop is getting in on the DeflateGate fun with their latest product aimed at Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
While DeflateGate might be one of the most important controversies the NFL has seen in recent years, it also has helped spawn some fantastic jokes at the expense of the New England Patriots.
The latest to get in on the fun: The Flying Cupcake, a cupcake shop in Indianapolis.
The Flying Cupcake’s latest product, which is called “The Tom Brady,” hilariously goes after Brady and the Patriots as they are mired in this controversy about deflated footballs.
Here’s how the company described the cupcake on Facebook:
More from New England Patriots

"Here goes today’s special (gulp)…the Tom Brady (honk if you’ve heard this one before). These are only $3.75 each (NOT $4.50…that’s our error we admit. The Tom Brady is available at all locations and 12.5 psi of flour…not that we can tell the difference"
This is so well-played, especially the use of the word “lying” in the caption underneath the photo that is placed next to the cupcake.
This is sure to be a hit with Colts fans in the area.
But at the very least, the cupcake shop seems to be having fun with the new product on Twitter.
While most are laughing about the whole DeflateGate situation, the Patriots surely are not. The NFL announced on Friday that it had already conducted more than 40 interviews for its investigation into the matter and one has to believe this ordeal is going to culminate with the Pats facing a serious penalty.
New England will take on the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona.
