Master impersonator Frank Caliendo interviewed some of the NFL’s Pro Bowlers as NFL analyst Jon Gruden.

The NFL Pro Bowl takes place on Sunday night, just one week ahead of the Super Bowl, and there is little football to hold people over for a week. That means another installment of the Pro Bowl that no one really cares about because it is basically not football and a glorified game of two-hand touch.

One redeeming factor of the Pro Bowl is Frank Caliendo, the impersonator extraordinaire who decided to interview a bunch of the Pro Bowl players as Jon Gruden. Caliendo’s impression of Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden is spot on.

Watching him actually interview players as Gruden instead of doing bits in the studio is incredible. In the video he interviews New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee.

They all engage in different activities, like trying to see what else McAfee can punt. What flowers are Brees favorite and a chess showdown with Ryan.

Of course Caliendo, as Gruden says that he will do well at chess because he was a football coach.
