Super Bowl XLIX looks to be a great matchup, and hopefully it can be as good as some of the other championship games we have had in the past.

Tom Brady against Russell Wilson.

Bill Belichick against Pete Carroll.

Rob Gronkowski against the Legion of Boom.

An old dynasty against a possible new dynasty.

This year’s Super Bowl has great matchups and headlines all across the board, and hopefully that can translate to a great game.

We had a good run of quality Super Bowls, but then Seattle steamrolled Denver 43-8 last year in one of the least exciting championship games.

That Super Bowl ranks among the bottom of the 48 Super Bowls we have had, but where do the others rank?

There were some championship games that kept us glued to the television the entire time, and then there were others that left us wanting so, so much more.

Ranking Super Bowls is a tricky thing since it’s all subjective and many of the people reading this have probably only been alive for half of them, but this is my take on where each Super Bowl stands among the others.
