5 things Tom Brady must do to win Super Bowl 49
He’s toward the end of his career and looking for his fourth Super Bowl ring. How can Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can lead New England to their first Super Bowl title in a decade?
It’s a familiar spot for the man who could cement himself as the greatest quarterback of all-time. But in order to do so, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has to win Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona on Sunday.
The last two times Brady guided the Pats to the Super Bowl, they were denied their fourth franchise title, losing both Super Bowl XLII and XLVI to Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Guess it’s a good thing that this time around, the Patriots aren’t playing the Giants.
Instead they get the Seattle Seahawks, a team looking to create their own dynasty and legacy in a similar, dominant way Brady and the Patriots of the 2000’s have, winning three Super Bowls in a four-year span from 2001 through 2004.
Should Brady win on Sunday, he’ll join his idol Joe Montana with four Super Bowl rings. Brady is currently 20-8 in the postseason and 3-2 in the Super Bowl. His illustrious career includes the most postseason starts by a quarterback (28), most postseason wins by a quarterback (20) and most touchdown passes (49), a feat he accomplished against the Colts in the AFC Championship game.
With just days from Super Bowl XLIX, can Tom be terrific one more time?
