Michael Carter-Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers beats the halftime buzzer in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With a pretty amazing display of speed, Michael Carter-Williams blows past the Timberwolves’ defenders to lay the ball in as the buzzer sounds before halftime. Carter-Williams has really been one of the lone bright spots for the incredibly young 76ers team.

Carter-Williams finished the game with a triple-double, with 17 points, ten assists and ten rebounds to help the 76ers knock off the Timberwolves. He also added in a steal and a block for good measure. It has been rumored by some that the 76ers have Carter-Williams on the trade block, but that would be a pretty mind-blowing move in my opinion.

Why would you trade such an incredible young player away from a team that is rebuilding and needs all the young talent that they can get their hands on? It just does not seem to make much sense. At some point you have to begin to take that talent from the draft and surround it with a few quality veterans and do what you can to make the playoffs.

Well I am certainly no NBA general manager, but I would be moving whatever I could to land a player that seems to be able to do a little bit of everything like MCW and add him to my roster. Enjoy him while you have him 76ers fans because if he is traded within the season it could be a very dark ending for you.
