Steve Blake nails amazing buzzer-beater (Video)

Portland Trail Blazers point guard Steve Blake nailed an amazing bank shot buzzer-beater against the Atlanta Hawks.

Steve Blake and the Portland Trail Blazers are one of the best teams in the Western Conference, and they are taking on the best team in the Eastern Conference this evening. The Atlanta Hawks have been very impressive all season long, and they haven’t shown signs of slowing down.

This is a big game for both teams as they look to stay towards the top in each of their divisions, and Blake helped out his Blazers in a big way. At the end of the first quarter, he nailed an amazing buzzer-beater that banked in from near the corner. He has always been a great shooter, but this shot was very impressive.

It is going to be very interesting to see where both of these teams end up at the end of the season, but they are both very evenly matched teams.

Shots like this one from Blake don’t come around every single game, so they need to be enjoyed when they do happen. Portland needs every bucket they can get in this game, and this was a huge momentum swing as well.

Needless to say, it was an amazing shot worth watching twice. Blake hasn’t necessarily been known as a clutch player throughout his career, but he has made his fair share of threes. This may have been completely luck, but he can still take credit for the buzzer-beater.
