The Super Bowl Is The Biggest Stage – Who Will Use It To Write Their Own Legacy?

Throughout the history of the Super Bowl, there have been innumerable historical moments. NFL dynasties begin and end with the result of the game. MVP awards are won. Inferior players are exposed. Legacies are written.

Think back to the Steel Curtain … Jimmy Johnson’s Cowboys … Bill Walsh and Joe Montana … Joe Gibbs, Don Shula, Al Davis, Bill Parcells, Mike Ditka and Buddy Ryan. Jerry Rice. Roger Craig. Lynne Swann. Franco Harris. Phil McConkey.

The biggest stage gives players and teams an unmatched opportunity to determine their legacies for themselves.

This year is no different. Super Bowl XLIX will give several players, coaches, teams and officials an opportunity to define how they are remembered for generations.

Who has the most to gain, or lose, by writing their own legacy on Super Bowl Sunday? Let’s examine.
