Oklahoma City Thunder star Dion Waiters misses an easy lay up against the Memphis Grizzlies

Oklahoma City Thunder star Dion Waiters is enjoying his time with his new organization after finding himself a bit lost with the newly re-tooled Cleveland Cavaliers. When explaining it he threw some shade at his former team.

“Listen,”Waiters said, “they give me the ball. Like, I touch the ball. Like, I actually, like, you know, touch the ball.”

You know, like, Dion. If you are going to touch the ball you might want to, you know, like make easy shots.

Dion Waiters missed an easy lay up in transition against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Maybe there was a reason he wasn’t getting the ball as much as he wanted in Cleveland.

He did end up getting the ball right back and finishing for two points. But, the point is that when you are in transition with an easy bucket you have a couple options: you either dunk the ball and make a highlight for SportsCenter’s top ten, or you finish with fundamentals and class.

Not lazily flick the ball up and smile as you make the put back.

Bad form, Dion. Very bad form.
