Players To Watch

Tom Brady

With the deflate-gate scandal still stirring, Brady will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. In his 17th year in the league, the two-time Super Bowl MVP continues to prove why he’s one of the most elite quarterbacks of our day, throwing for 593 yards and six touchdowns in the 2014 postseason. Expect him to target his top New England Patriots targets,  Gronkowski and Edelman.

Rob Gronkowski

The Seattle Seahawks’ defense faces a tall task trying to shut down the New England Patriots offense, especially No. 87. He leads all tight ends with 1,124 receiving yards this season, and has caught more touchdowns over his five seasons than any other player at his position in NFL history. The Gronk will be dancing in the end zone at least once come Sunday.

LeGarrette Blount

The Super Bowl will largely be a battle of the running backs: the Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch and the Pats’ LeGarrette Blount. Only two months after the Pittsburgh Steelers released Blount, the running powerhouse ran for 148 yards and three touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship.
